Story Archives: Ouachita preps for district start

Ouachita preps for district start
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The defending state champion Ouachita Lions are back at the drawing board and working on fundamentals during down time this week.

Ouachita does not play again until their district schedule starts against Pineville next Tuesday. The extra time off gives the team a chance to come back from player injuries.

Antonio Landers is battling a hamstring injury while Ryan Gix continues to nurse a sore ankle.
Ouachita had the opportunity to schedule one more game this week, but opted to use the time to rest and work on ball handling.
