Entire WM board to seek re-election

Qualifying for the March 27 election for the West Monroe Board of Aldermen will begin Wednesday, Feb. 3 and last through Friday, Feb 5.

Every member of the board plans to seek re-election.

They are Alice Pearson, who has served since 1992; James W. "Sonny" Bennett, who has served since 1974; L.O. "Sam" Yeager, who has served since 1967; James D. "Polk" Brian, who has served since 1994; and Fred Ragland, who has served continually since 1978.
All incumbents have been elected unopposed over the past three elections.
