Teen court winter kickoff Thursday, Jan. 28
Ouachita Parish Teen Court will host a winter kickoff for its high school Explorer Post at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Ouachita Parish Juvenile Court Building.
Area 9th through 12th-grade students and parents are invited to attend.
The Teen Court program enables youth to experience courtroom proceedings and participate directly as attorneys, jury members, and courtroom bailiffs. Cases brought before Teen Court are real and have real consequences.
Registration fee to participate in the Teen Court post is $15 per year. Please RSVP your attendance to the Teen Court office at 327-3415.
The Court Building is located at 4822 South Grand St. in Monroe. |
