Sterlington travels to face Kilbourne

The Sterlington Panthers and Lady Panthers will face Kilbourne High School in a non-district game this Friday night on the road.

Sterlington (18-8) split their games last week when they beat Ferriday 57-54 before losing to Farmerville, 48-40. Against Ferriday, Sterlington was led in scoring by Matt Allred. Allred poured in 24 points while Kellen Goldsby added 11 points for the Panthers.

"We made some free throws down the stretch," Sterlington head coach Kevin Caballero said. "We decided after watching them on film we would try to drive to the basket and get to the free-throw line."
