Richwood takes on Rayville The Richwood Rams will be back in action at Rayville on Friday trying to end a two-game losing skid.
The defending Class 3A state champions lost their district 1-3A opener in overtime against Carroll last Friday, 75-74. The Rams missed 27 free throws and could not seem to get any kind of momentum going in the extra period of play. Richwood had a slim lead at halftime and extended it to as many as 10 points in the third quarter.
Fatigue set in on the Rams late in the fourth and that did not get any easier for the Rams in the overtime period. For the full report and a photo, see Page 4B of this week's Citizen.
