Police jury approves V-Vehicle bond sale
The Ouachita Parish Police Jury gave preliminary approval Tuesday to issue $11.5 million of tax bonds as part of the local financial obligation for V-Vehicle Co.
Action was taken during the police jury's regular meeting.
Grant Schleuter, a bond attorney with Foley and Judell of New Orleans, told the police jury that since it approved the issuance of bonds the measure can be placed on the state Bond Commission's agenda for its February meeting.
