MSL hosts emerging artist competition The Monroe Symphony League will host the 2010 Monroe Symphony League Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artists Competition Saturday, Jan. 16, in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Preliminary round auditions begin at 10 a.m. and are free and open to the public.
The final round of auditions, determining the competition's overall winners, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Biedenharn Recital Hall and will be presented in recital format.
Tickets are required for the final round of the competition and are available at a cost of $5 per ticket. Seating is limited.
Tickets for the final round may be purchased by calling the Monroe Symphony Orchestra office at 812-6761 and will also be available on the day of the competition in the recital hall lobby. |
