What an exciting day January 7 was — that is until the BCS game came on and a certain Shreveport sportscaster spoiled the entire day by saying his report of LSU offensive coordinator Gary Crowton leaving was being denied by Tiger head coach Les Miles.

Word of advice that I should also take as well —until something comes out on LSUsports.net or Dandydon.com, take any rumor with a grain of mud left on the Capital One Bowl field.

But in Shreveport sportscaster Tim Fletcher's defense, he was just relaying what someone had told him.
