Landers names tournament MVP
Antonio Landers, a senior guard at Ouachita Parish High School, added more hardware to his growing trophy collection on Saturday night when he was named Most Outstanding Player of the 19th annual Don Redden Memorial Classic.
The tournament has been held at Ouachita each season since 1991 and is the premiere local basketball tournament in the parish.
Landers scored 86 points over the four-day tournament and helped the Lions capture their second consecutive Redden Classic championship. The title was also the eighth championship overall for the Lions in their own tournament.
