Local school systems adjust to state budget cuts
Ouachita Parish Schools will take a $230,000 cut to several programs due to mid-year budget cuts implemented by the state Department of Education.
The Department of Education on Monday announced $16 million in cuts to school districts across the state.
Ouachita Parish Schools will have the largest reduction in its adult education program at $190,922.
