Agreement calls for OEDC to pay $1M
OEDC Land Corp. will now be required to provide the city of Monroe with its $1 million in assistance for the Gardner Denver Thomas expansion project.
During Tuesday's regular city council meeting, the city council introduced an ordinance to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with OEDC Land Corp. to complete the transaction.
The city is expected to approve the cooperative endeavor agreement at its Jan. 26 meeting.
OEDC Land Corp. committed $1 million to the Gardner Denver Thomas expansion project as part of the incentives package to entice the company to consolidate its Sheboygan, Wis. Operations to the Monroe facility.
