Mayo, KCS officials meet in Missouri

Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo traveled to Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday to discuss several local projects with Kansas City Southern Railway chairman Mike Haverty.

Mayo was joined by city councilman Jay Marx and city engineer Sinyale Morrison.

Mayo requested the meeting through KCS board member and former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater, who currently works for the Washington, D.C. lobbying firm Patton-Boggs. Patton Boggs represents the city of Monroe in Washington.
