City hires former ULM coach Vining, others
The city of Monroe on Tuesday announced a number of new hires including former ULM basketball coach Mike Vining.
Vining was hired to serve as Mayor Jamie Mayo's executive administrative officer.
Joining Vining at the city are Angie Baldwin in the legal department, Alecia Murphy in Planning and Urban Development, Sharon Traxler as Monroe Civic Center events coordinator and Adrienne LaFrance as the Civic Center's box officer manager.
Vining spent the last five years as director of events for Fant-Ewing Coliseum at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
