You only live once — but if you work it right, once is enough. — Joe E. Lewis

My favorite song of this week: "Why Me Lord" by Chris Kristofferson. "Please help me Jesus." And I love the way Mike Cage sings it. Yes, he can sing too!

Time to say goodbye to my old friend Johnnie Woodard. He is now one of our Saints. Johnnie had a long battle with pancreatic cancer. We go back a long way, from the Dynasty Lounge, to College Town Liquor, Duck Hunting, making the best PEPPER SAUCE in town to St. Paul's Methodist Church.
For the full report, see Page 9A of this week's Citizen.
