OCS set to open district play The Ouachita Christian School Eagles will begin district play Friday when they visit the Cedar Creek Cougars in Ruston. OCS is coming off a 79-44 loss to the undefeated Caldwell Spartans (23-0) last week.
Nobody has been able to hang with the Spartans, who appear to be headed toward a top seed in the Class 3A playoffs this season.
Colby Webb had a monster game for OCS as he scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to pace OCS. Casterdell Hymes lead Caldwell with 22 point and Centerius Donald added 21 points and five rebounds. For the full report, see Page 1B of this week's Citizen.
