Wossman takes down Neville Wossman downed Neville 81-72 in the finals of the West Monroe Holiday Classic last week and now enter the Don Redden Memorial Tournament at Ouachita this week.
Wossman got 26 points from DeMichael Goodin and Miguel Gibson added 22 points for the Wildcats in a contest that went to two overtime periods before being decided against the pesky Tigers. The Wildcats could not have done it without the 24 points from Jonathan Ross. He dominated the paint and led Wossman in rebounds.
Delarious Jones added 31 points for Neville as the Tigers have been one of the pleasant surprises on the basketball court in this area in 2010. For the full report, see Page 1B of this week's Citizen.
