LSU has questions to answer in '10

The 2009 season started off with much promise for LSU, but ended in disappointment with a bowl game loss to Penn State.

Jordan Jefferson was embattled all season at the quarterback position. He made bad throws and got the fans calling for his head in almost every game this season. Jefferson completed 182-of-296 pass attempts for 2,166 yards and 17 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.

It was more the throws that Jefferson did not make that enraged many LSU fans throughout the year. He repeatedly did not connect with the wide-open receiver. He also was sacked a staggering 34 times in 2009. He was sacked just nine times while playing in the second half of the season last year, replacing Jarrett Lee.
