Ouachita 'holding our own' in state tourism market
Tourism continues to provide a big revenue stream for Ouachita Parish despite a downturn in the national economy that's hampered many tourist attractions.
Figures released in November showed Ouachita Parish ranked eighth out of the state's 64 parishes in revenue from tourism in 2008.
Tourism revenue generated in 2009 won't be known until those statistics are compiled in November 2010.
