River Oaks students honored for academics
Several students at River Oaks School were selected as 'Students of the Quarter,' which is sponsored by the school's Academic Booster Club.
Students are selected on the basis of teacher nomination, grade point average, extracurricular activities, behavior/integrity, academic distinction, and ACT/SAT scores.
Quarter one students were:
Sixth grade: Jake Bryant, son of Dr. Brent and Tracie Bryant;
Seventh grade: Rama Mouhaffel, daughter of Dr. Assad and Najwa Mouhaffel;
Eighth grade: Radha Patel, daughter of Kevin and Sandy Patel;
Ninth grade: Daniel Zollinger, son of Dr. Bill and Michelle Zollinger;
Tenth grade: Ryan MacGregor, son of Brian and Kathy MacGregor;
Eleventh grade: Philip Raeisghasem, son of Jennifer Causey;
Twelfth grade: Miriam Henry, daughter of James and Jennie Henry.
