Mary Jane Pagan Dillard
A celebration of life for Mary Jane Pagan Dillard, 60, formerly of West Monroe, was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in West Monroe with graveside services in the church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. The Revs. Everett Geis Sr. and Steve Sallis officiated.
Mary Jane was born in Bastrop on Oct. 30, 1949, and died Dec. 25, 2009, in Keller, Texas, with her children at her side.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Dillard; and parents, Roy and Annie Pagan.
She is survived by a son, Jim Dillard and wife, Crystal, of Houston, Ark.; daughter, Nikki Smith and husband, Mike, of Keller, Texas, granddaughters Madelyn and Maci; a sister, Adelia Gardner and husband, James, of Minden; a brother, Perry Pagan and wife, Sylvia, of Quitman; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Will Mulhearn, Wayne Pagan, Daron Hemphill, Darren Gardner, Paul Manco, Johnny Johnson, Jon Roberts and Brad Buchan. Honorary pallbearer was Jonathan Roberts.
Mary Jane was graduated in 1988 from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in fashion merchandising.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Texas Oncology-Plano East, 3705 W. 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075.

Elmer Lee McManus
Funeral Services for Mr. Elmer Lee McManus, 75, of West Monroe, were at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Greater Apostolic Church in Chatham, with Rev. Tommy McMurray and Rev. Doyle McManus officiating. Interment was at Greater Apostolic Church Cemetery in Chatham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Mr. McManus passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009. Memorials may be made to the New Life Apostolic Church in West Monroe.

Vincent Paul Marzula
Funeral Services for Vincent Paul Marzula, 73, of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at St. Paschal's Catholic Church in West Monroe with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Mr. Marzula passed away on Dec. 24, 2009 at his residence in Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Residential Training School in Alexandria.

Jane Pearce
Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Pearce, 68, of Eros, were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Thompson and Rev. Lemiel Baugh officiating. Interment was at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery near Eros, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Mrs. Pearce passed away Dec. 28, 2009, in Monroe.
