Chamber honors Shows with A.O. Evans Award
Instilling pride in the community
cited as one reason WMHS coach
earned chamber's highest honor
West Monroe High School head football coach Don Shows has had three amazing things happen for him in 2009.
First, he won his 300th game as a coach and quickly followed that with another 5A state championship with the Rebels.
To top it all off, Shows was named the recipient of the A.O. Evans Award Saturday during the West Monroe/West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas gala.
