Weekly devotional and church listings: Dec. 24, 2009

This past Christmas I received a gift from my six year old granddaughter that really touched my heart. This is not to say that all gifts that come from my grandchildren don't touch my heart because they do.
This one was unique. It was something that you wouldn't expect a six year old to do or want to give. According to her mother this was the first Christmas her independent daughter wanted to buy her own gifts and wrap them — and she made some good decisions.
In my office is a free-standing plaque that simply says, "Believe." It is in the form of a rolled out scroll on a background with bunches of green grapes hanging from the top and some on the bottom.
