Dianne Cage 12/17, with two new recipes "O WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD" Only by Louis Armstrong ... another favorite song of mine, it makes you happy, puts a smile on your face... I see skies of blue and I love you. Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane. Gene Autrey wrote that song. He was in front of Santa Claus in a big Christmas parade and all the children were saying, "Here comes Santa Claus."
I'm so excited, one of my very best friends Dr. Martha Upshaw Anderson is going to be joining The Ouachita Citizen and are you in for a treat! She is so smart and kind. Let me see what words describe her: integrity, faith, courage, wisdom, honesty and balance. She will be writing the week that I will not , every other week. You are in for a real treat!
For the full column, including Dianne Cage's recipes for ambrosia and pralines, see Page 1B of this week's Citizen.
Subscribe to The Ouachita Citizen, your locally owned newspaper since 1924, by calling (318) 322-3161, ext 201. A one-year subscription costs a low $25 for Ouachita Parish addresses. We honor senior citizens with a discounted $20 per year rate for parish delivery. |
