West Monroe looks for wins at tournament
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The West Monroe Rebels and Lady Rebels will be heading to the Ruston tournament after a rare Tuesday night off this week.

West Monroe (5-1) lost their first game to Wossman last Friday 48-35 and are hungry for redemption as they begin with Lakeview in the Ruston tournament at 6p.m. and then will play Thursday night against either Airline or Plaquemine.

Corey Lacey is the lone returning starter for the Rebels from a year ago when they lost to Ouachita in the Class 5A semi-finals. Lacey scored 21 points in the losing effort against Wossman last week.

For the full report, see Page 8A of this week's Citizen.
