Refuge plans Tails and Trails During the month of December, Tails and Trails at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge will feature activities that show what happens to wildlife in winter.
There will be a craft, story, nature walk (weather dependent) and a snack. The program will be Dec. 17.
Registration is required for this monthly program. Participants will be limited to 20 children, ages 3-5 years old only, with accompanying adults. Preschools are welcome.
The program will be held from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Conservation Learning Center. Call 387-1114 by Dec. 16 to register.
Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge is located just north of Monroe off Hwy. 165 North on Richland Place.
"Tales and Trails" programs are open to the public and there is no charge. |
