Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper columnist Thomas L. Friedman says his latest book has been categorized as a "green" book when in fact his new offering is "about America."

Friedman, a foreign affairs columnist for The New York Times and a best-selling author, paid a visit to the University of Louisiana-Monroe Tuesday as part of the university's Presidential Lyceum Series.

Friedman presented information from his latest book, "Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution," to a large audience of students, professors and members of the community.
