Story Archives: Neville set for battle at Lutcher

Neville set for battle at Lutcher
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Neville Tigers (12-1) will travel to No.3 Lutcher this Friday in a contest that Tigers have been eyeing for almost a month.

Lutcher, considered the best team in Class 4A talent-wise, will be a daunting task for a Neville team that has seen its share of close calls the last two playoff games.

A fired-up Northside squad came to Bill Ruple Stadium last week with upset on their mind. Neville would have none of it and advanced with a 17-14 victory. It was the second straight three-point playoff win for Neville after a thrilling 39-36 overtime win at McDonough #35 the previous week.
