posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Members of the Fort Miro Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution enjoyed the annual membership luncheon in the Jefferson Room of The Atrium on Saturday, Nov. 14. Following the invocation, pledge of allegiance, American's Creed, and The Star Spangled Banner, members were welcomed by Regent Dianne Lawrence.

Assisted by Jo Ann McLean, membership chairman, Lawrence then introduced recipients of the membership certificates: 25-year members, Bettie Phillips and Mary Ann Riddle; 40-year member Jeannette Ackel; 50-year member Billie Sue Moore; and 60-year members, Nancy Davis, Betty Jones and Sarah Kinne. Mrs. McLean introduced the new members: Robin Beatty, Judy Carolyn Freeman, Whitney Leigh Davis and Lynda Wood Huggins.

For the full report and a photo of the honorees, see Page 10A of this week's Citizen.
