The University of Louisiana at Monroe announced Monday that the contract of football head coach Charlie Weatherbie will not be renewed.

Weatherbie, who just completed his seventh season at ULM, compiled a 31-51 record at the Warhawks' helm including a 6-6 mark this past season. In 17 seasons as a head coach, Weatherbie's overall record is 76-115 with previous stops at Utah State and the U.S. Naval Academy.

Director of Athletics Bobby Staub said a national search for a replacement will begin immediately. Carr Sports Associates will be enlisted to assist with the search.
