Story Archives: Gentry showcases local stars each week

Gentry showcases local stars each week
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Wayne Gentry has been making things look and sound good for area athletes for many years.

A fixture around town at both the high school and college level of athletics as well as the Monroe Civic Center Jack Howard Theatre in sound and video production, Gentry has taken what he has learned in production to build a local production company, Showcase Productions, into one of the most sophisticated and sought after companies in the south.

Gentry has been around broadcasting his whole life. His father, Wayne Gentry Sr. was a morning show host on KMLB 1440 AM and 1310 AM from 1965-1969, then known as KUZN.
