A team of West Monroe AmeriCorps members will paint the seawall along Trenton Street thanks to a grant from Home Depot.

The $2,500 grant was secured by West Monroe's Office of Community Development.
The AmeriCorps team will oversee the project and recruit people to assist.

"Trenton Street holds such a significant place in the history of West Monroe and continues to be a popular gateway to so many areas within the city and parish," said Community Development coordinator Cynthia Holland.
