Tree festival benefits ballet In celebration of the Twin City Ballet Company's 40th Anniversary Season, TCBC Board member Patti Wilhite has created a community-building event called Festival of Trees, which kicks off on Sunday, Nov. 29 with an open-house from 4-8 p.m.
The Jack Howard Theatre Lobby of the Monroe Civic Center will be filled with the sights and sounds of Christmas.
Forty designers have donated their time and talents to decorate 40 pre-lit Christmas trees, along with several smaller trees perfect for children's rooms. The trees will be auctioned off on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Jingle Bell Jam party.
Proceeds from these events will benefit the Twin City Ballet Company, which is an Honor Company of Regional Dance America-Southwest.
Adult admission: $4 Children/Seniors: $3 Family Tickets: $14 (up to 6 people) Large Groups (20 or more): $1 per person.
