Six area teams head into playoffs

Louisiana High School Athletic Association football playoffs begin this week and the next chapter in the football season for area teams will be critical.

The West Monroe Rebels (10-0) are the second seed in the Class 5A playoffs and will host No. 31 Brother Martin of New Orleans.

The Rebels breezed into the postseason, but as every area team knows, it is one and done if you do not play up to your potential from here on out.
