Wossman to host Neville
An old-fashioned Monroe rivalry gets renewed Friday night as the Wossman Wildcats (2-6, 1-3) host the Neville Tigers (8-1, 4-0) at 7 p.m.
Neville has already wrapped up the district championship and is eyeing a top three seed in the upcoming Class 4A playoff bracket that will be released on Sunday afternoon.
Wossman is seemingly out of the playoff picture but certainly has a lot of pride left to play for as they will be on their home turf this week against the district champs.
Neville comes into the game following an impressive 41-14 victory over the Bastrop Rams in a game that was tied 6-6 at halftime.
