West Monroe hosts Pineville

The West Monroe Rebels (9-0, 5-0) will attempt to complete their third consecutive undefeated regular season when they host another set of Rebels from Pineville High School (1-8, 1-4) Friday at Rebel Stadium.

West Monroe is coming off a 56-7 win over Natchitoches Central. West Monroe didn't start the game like many are used to seeing from the nationally ranked Rebels. They didn't score until late in the first quarter and quarterback Paul Turner threw an interception on the first offensive drive. The pick was just his second of the season.

Turner got the offense cranked up late in the opening period with a one-yard touchdown run and the Cody Hollis kick made it 7-0 for West Monroe.
