Story Archives: CA Studios to stage MacBeth

CA Studios to stage MacBeth
by Michael DeVault - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Fires will burn and cauldrons will bubble in Kiroli Park next week, when CA Studios opens their fall production of the Shakespeare classic MacBeth.

Cathy Airhart said the production will remain true to the original, with a special dramatic flair to liven it up.

"This version, presented by CA Studio and the Poets and Players Troupe, accommodates William Shakespeare's grand language to a style approaching the apocalyptic, including music by the Doors and other modern interpreters," said Airhart. "The Bard comes to life unforgettably for school classes and the public."
