30th annual Toy Run benefits Salvation Army

The North La. Motorcyclists for Kids will host the 30th annual Toy Run for the Salvation Army on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009.

Registration is from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and motorcycles leave at 1 p.m. from American Outdoor Products in Monroe.

Riders must bring at least one new toy and four canned goods or a minimum $10 donation to ride. Run T-Shirts will be sold for $15.

Many prizes will be awarded and the event will be held regardless of weather conditions. Free chili will be available at end, the Big Top Restaurant in West Monroe.

Drop-off points include Big Top Restaurant and Lounge; Performance Cycle; AmVets Post #66 on Armand Street in Monroe; Bayou Honda; Blue Bayou Harley Davidson; Memories Lounge; Bobby's ATV Repair; and Squirrel's and Sherry's Shop.
