Program focuses on garden composting

Jim Turner, a graduate of the LSU AgCenter Master Gardener Course, will present a program, "Composting: Garden Alchemy That Changes Trash into Organic Gold" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

The program will be held at the Louise Williams Branch of the Ouachita Parish Public Library in Swartz.

Turner will explain how to make, service and use a compost system that will benefit gardening year round.
