Fundraiser aids local woman

Pete's Place II will be hosting a benefit auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, for Wendy Chisholm (Breezy).

Chisholm has been diagnosed with Dercums Disease, a rare disorder accompanied by painful tumors and swelling by various nerve lesions.

Proceeds will help with her medical expenses.

Tax-deductible contributions may be sent to Auction Coordinator Josie Lenard, Pete's Place, 134 Kings Lade Road, West Monroe, LA 71292.
