The Richwood Rams (3-3, 1-0) travel to Caldwell Parish High School for another key district 2-3A match Friday at 7 p.m.

Richwood is coming off a dominating performance in a 51-0 win over the Green Oaks Giants in Shreveport last week.

A muddy field did little to slow Richwood as they ran for 376 yards and a whopping 14.4 yards per carry as a team.

"We executed real well and played real well on defense," Richwood head coach Warren Trimble said. "We have a relatively young team and they are growing up a lot. We have a real tough game this week so we must keep working hard and keep getting better."

Running back Greg Hudson ran for 137 yards on 14 carries. He had a first-quarter touchdown run and a pair of two-point conversion runs to lead the Rams.

Justin Long averaged 46 yards per carry and a total 138 yards. He scored touchdowns runs of 78 and 55 yards as he dominated would be tacklers all night long.

Richwood quarterback Anthony Abraham ran for 27 yards and two touchdowns in a ball control performance by the senior.

Antonio Wilson scored on a two-yard touchdown run and Aaron Profit returned a kickoff 70-yards for a score to close out the scoring for the Rams.

The Richwood defense turned in another dominating performance as the Rams limited Green Oaks to minus-two yards rushing on 18 carries and zero yards passing.

Richwood will now turn their attention to the Caldwell Spartans who are coming off a 14-7 loss to the Carroll Bulldogs

All-state running back Centarius Arnold was held to 53 yards on 16 carries and one touchdown as he scored the first touchdown of the game and the Spartans could not find the goal line again.
Xavier Preston rushed for 97 yards against Carroll after the defense keyed on Arnold.
