Tigers drop to No. 10 in national polls following loss to Florida BATON ROUGE -- After suffering its first Saturday night loss in Tiger Stadium in nearly seven years, the LSU football team was voted No. 10 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Top 25 polls that were released on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers moved to No. 9 in the Harris Interactive Poll, which is used in the Bowl Championship Series rankings that debut after next weekend's play.
LSU (5-1, 3-1 SEC) enter the only bye week of the 2009 season, and will next face Auburn on Oct. 24. Kickoff time for the contest in Tiger Stadium is expected to be announced Monday.
Auburn dropped out of the polls after falling to Arkansas on Saturday.
