Richwood High travels to Ruston High Friday hoping to hand the Bearcats their first loss of the season.

Ruston drop down to Class 4A this season, but not in power as the Bearcats defeated Sulphur 23-7 last Friday to improve its record against 5A teams to 3-0.

The Rams will have their hands full against Ruston running back JaRen Johnson, who rushed for 182 yards against Sulphur.

Richwood fell to Calvary Christian 21-12 last week.

The Rams had 206 yards on the ground, but allowed Calvary 165 yards through the air.
Calvary is coached by former Mangham coach Bo meeks.

Richwood's two scores came in the first half as Chris Wheeler scored on a 4-ayrd run, while Anthony Abraham ripped off a 50-yard run in the second quarter.

Calvary outscored Richwood 6-0 in the second half.
