The Sept. Meeting of the Northeast La. Genealogical & Historical Society will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, in the Louis Locke room of the Main Branch of the Ouachita Parish Library.

The speaker will be Richard Chardkoff, professor of History at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. His topic will be "Argentina: The Mothers of Plaza de Mayo." He is the author of several papers on the subject and has traveled extensively to tell the story. The group will also elect officers for the coming year. Guests are welcome.
