George Boyd
Graveside services for Mr. George E. Boyd, 86 of Monroe, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Beulah Cemetery-Calhoun, with Rev. Don Holloway officiating.
Mr. Boyd was born Sept. 23, 1922 in Calhoun, and passed away Aug. 8, 2009, in Monroe.
Family request any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Myeloma Foundation.

Bennie D. Brewer

Norma Maple Epler
Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Maple Epler of Monroe were held Monday Aug. 10, 2009, in the chapel at Clark-Griffin Funeral Co. of West Monroe.
Mrs. Epler, age 84, passed away Aug. 8, 2009 at the Southern Oaks Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
