Church hosts annual memorial Praise Fest
The 11th Annual Jennifer Robertson memorial Praise Fest will be held at North Monroe Baptist Church, 210 Finks Hideaway Road in Monroe at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
The lineup of well-known local artists includes Mike Loveday, who will also serve as master of ceremonies; Darrell Robertson, Brothers in Christ; New Liberty Quartet, Blessed Assurance; Brad Mount; and many others.
Praise Fest will once again be a Gaither-style concert with a choir. Anyone wishing to sing in the choir is asked to attend a practice at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at North Monroe Baptist Church. Praise Fest is a non-denominational event.
There is no charge for this event, but a love offering will be received and money collected will be deposited into the Jennifer Robertson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Louisiana College. |
