Buddy and Susan Aulds of West Monroe are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mallory Annette Aulds, to David Bryn Meredith, son of George and Simone Meredith, also of West Monroe.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kay Walker Southern and the late Gene Southern and Ted McEnery and the late Annette Jones Aulds McEnery. Mallory is the great- granddaughter of Mrs. Rosalee Walker and the late Curtis Odell Walker, the late ed and Mae Salsbury, and the late S.E. and Thelma Aulds.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Barbara Bell and the late Walter E. Bell and the late Mr. and Mrs. George E. Meredith Sr.

Mallory is a graduate of West Monroe High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a bachelor's of science in radiologic technology. She is employed at St. Francis Medical Center and teaches dancing at Linda Lavender's School of Dance.

Bryn is also a graduate of West Monroe High School and will graduate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in December with a bachelor's of health science in pre-professional health studies. He is employed at Gastrointestinal Consultants and at Glenwood Medical Center.

The couple will marry on the beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at sunset.
