PCAL conference seeks proposals

Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana is seeking professionals to present at their 24th Annual "Kids Are Worth It!" conference to be held March 1-3, 2010 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans.

The conference is the only state-wide conference focused on the prevention of child abuse and neglect.

Presenters are sought to conduct workshops that fall in one of the following categories: Prevention/Education, Treatment/ Inter- vention, Investigative/ Legal, Infant Mental Health, Parent Education & Support, Addictive Disorders or All Professions.

The applications can be found at www.pcal.org and are due by Friday, Aug. 14.
Selected presenters will be notified by Sept. 18, that they have been chosen.
