Idol auditions this weekend
Auditions for the fourth annual Fox-14 Ark-La-Miss Idol will be held from 1-5 p.m. July 10-11 inside Pecanland Mall in Monroe.
All area singers between ages 16-28 are invited to go online to www.myarklamiss.com for official rules and applications.
The first 100 entrants will be chosen to participate. They will have an opportunity to sing on stage in front of a panel of judges. The winner of the competition is guaranteed an audition in front of American Idol producers.
Sponsors of the Ark-La-Miss Idol competition are Hixson Ford, Care Solutions, Teresa's Flooring & Decorating and Haik Humble Eye Center. Travel to Season 9 American Idol auditions for this year's Ark-La-Miss Idol winner will be provided by Monroe Regional Airport.
