The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens is hosting Lee Estes' collection "Great and Small Fountains of Europe" during July in the Welcome Room in ELsong Garden.

The exhibit features 25 photographs ranging from 1971 to 1998. Estes will be on site Thursday, July 9, at noon and 5:30 p.m. to discuss the exhibit and share his experiences. Admission is free.

Estes is best known as one of the nation's premier black and white photographers. His photographic exhibits have been displayed throughout the South, and his images have appeared in such prestigious publications as the Journal of the Photographic Society of America.

Estes has authored two books – Fading Textures: Vintage Architecture, Industry, and Transportation in Northeast Louisiana and Fading Warriors: Twi-Light Reminiscences from World War II. A third book, The Coach Stops Here! Images and Anecdotes from Four Decades of International Travel, is currently awaiting publication.
