"Jack" Carr; and her parents, H.R. and Marie Dickerson. Survivors include her children, Gary Carr, Ronald Carr and wife, Cheryl, and her devoted daughter and caregiver, Linda Carr; grandchildren, Christopher Carr, Heather Moss and husband, Jeremiah, and Brittany Carr; great-grandchild, Isaiah Moss; her beloved sister, Kitty Colbert and husband, Don; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Powers and husband, Robert; and several nieces and nephews. Almeda Wimp Crowe Mrs. Almeda Wimp Crowe, 91, of Alexandria, died Friday, May 29, 2009. Her funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Mark Fenn officiating. Interment was at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.W. Crowe; two sisters, Bonitta Paynar and Floella Nation; and son, Harry Crowe. Survivors include her sons, Richard J. Jessie Lee Gates Mrs. Jessie Lee Gates, 90, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 29, 2009, in West Monroe. Her funeral was at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev.
